A
lot of people ask me for a trade. When it comes to Kristeen's material,
I'm very strict - I don't make any copy of these recordings unless you
prove that you own any album she has released so far.
|
Imo the quality
of a musician is revealed live on stage, without the safety of the
studio and its technical equipment. And Kristeen shows an incredible
quality! Discs from her gigs in Portugal and some "classic"
performances in St. Louis. |

"Bootlegs
are what they are. The concept has been around forever. I think
bootlegging was probably more exciting when the technology was less
available... and harder to smuggle into shows. I can't listen to my
own... it's painful! (Then again, I can't listen to my albums either,)
but if people like them, I'm fine with it. If an artist thinks that
bootlegs are going to handicap their sales, then I don't think the
artist could be very compelling or creative. A bootleg is like a
souvenir. It doesn't replace the "product" or "work" or "performance"
itself. If someone wants a bootleg, it's because they like the
original so much."
